Ron Apollon
DIRECTOR
Ron is the head coach for the UWS Atlanta Panthers women Pro Am team and the Assistant Coach for the Fellowship Christian School Boys and Girls Varsity soccer teams.
He also overlooks the GK Training for the NASA Tophat Boys and Girls soccer programs as well as the UFA Metro program.
Jackie DeNova
Jackie is a senior member of LDGA having been on staff since 2009. She is currently a staff coach for the GPS Lexington soccer program. Jackie is a very experienced coach who has served as the South Carolina ODP Director of Goalkeeping, as well as GK Coach in the collegiate arena at Coker College, USC Aiken, Cape Fear Community College, and SC State University. During her playing career, she transferred from the University of Mississippi to William Carey University in Hattiesburg MS where she went on to have an impressive playing career. Jackie was a two-time All-American goalkeeper, a member of the Nissan All-Region Team, and the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) All-Conference Team. She holds a USSF National “C”
Rade Tanaskovic
Grew up in Barzilovica, Serbia and currently resides in La Grange, Ill… Currently the Goalkeeping Coach for the Chicago Red Stars… Most recently came from the University of Iowa where he was the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach… University of Louisville Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach where goalkeeper Taylor Bucklin earned All-ACC honors in 2015… Region III Olympic Development Goalkeeper Coach… US Soccer Goalkeeper Coach with the US U23 WNT Training Camps… Columbus State University Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach winning two conference championships, two NCAA tournament appearances, and an Elite 8 appearance in 2014… CFC Red Star Girls Director of Coaching and Academy Director of Coaching…NGSA Rapids Director of Goalkeeping… Georgia Olympic Development Program Staff Member… Emmanuel College Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach… Atlanta Silverbacks (USL W-League) Assitant and Goalkeeper Coach… Last Defense Goalkeeper Academy Staff Member… ZFK LASK (FC Red Star Belgrade) Assistant and Goalkeeper Women’s Coach… Currently holds a UEFA B and USSF C coaching licenses… Has an NSCAA Goalkeeping Level 1 and 2 diploma… Is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Mary Mancin
Mary Mancin is a former LDGA camper who has been on the LDGA coaching staff for the past 5 years. She is currently the Assistant Coach for the Virginia Military Institute’s women’s soccer team after spending the past two years at Southeastern Louisiana University as the goalkeeper’s coach. Previously, she was the on the coaching staff at the University of Tennessee at Martin. She is in her second season at Southeastern Louisiana University as the goalkeeper’s coach after spending a season on the University of Tennessee at Martin staff. She was also promoted to the coaching at her Alma Matter, Columbus State University, where she set a school record with nine shutouts during the 2011 season. Mary has been part of the ODP GK Coaching staff in both GA and TN, as well as on the Region 3 ODP staff. She currently holds a United States Soccer Federation “C” License
Anel Lilic
Anel is in his 3rd season on the LDGA coaching staff. He is currently, the Assistant and GK coach for the Women’s team at Georgia Southern University. He was previously the GK coach for the University of North Georgia Men’s Soccer team, the head coach of the girls at Flowery Branch High School (31-2-1 record), GK coach for the Georgia ODP program and a staff coach at Gwinnet Soccer Academy. Anel is originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia and played collegiate soccer at Emmanuel College from 2009-2013. After graduation, Coach Anel went on to be the Graduate Assistant at the University of North Georgia (2013-2016). He has also coached at the youth club level for Lanier Soccer Association and Atlanta Fire United, where he was also the Director of Goalkeeping. Anel also served as a goalkeeper coach for Emmanuel College for the (2016-2017) season.
